Design in Details
Located on a newly developed estate in East Grinstead, this project involved the construction of three high-value SIP homes, each with an estimated resale value of £2 million. While similar in form, each property featured a slightly different design, making the project both varied and enjoyable to deliver.
Working from clear and well-detailed SIP CAD drawings by Benn Nicol, and using the exceptional-quality SIP panels supplied by Kingspan, the project ran smoothly from start to finish — a dream setup for any SIP erector. The accuracy of the design and materials allowed for efficient installation and excellent build quality.
Each building was completed within approximately six weeks, supported by a forklift on site for steelwork and material handling, and a crane used for the installation of the SIP roof panels. The success of this development led directly to further work, including the construction of the property developer’s own personal SIP home, a testament to the quality and confidence delivered on this project.
